Our Coaches

The 2024-25 season will mark as Sean King's fourth year as head coach for Concord High wrestling. Born and raised in Concord, Coach King has traveled to 25 states across the country and is proud to call Concord his home. Coaching wrestling is the most fulfilling activity he's done in his life.

Coach Johnny O'Shea is a Concord Alum. His connection to the school makes him passionate about producing not only great wrestlers, but great young adults to represent Concord High School. He is pursuing medical school and is a Navy medic veteran. This will be his second year coaching and first year as assistant head coach.

Aka Coach V, he wrestled in the Sac Joaquin section during high school. This will be his fourth year coaching wrestling at Concord, starting right along Coach King. He moved to Concord after marrying his wife who is a Concord native. He served in the Airforce and works for IBM.

Coach Ortiz made quite a name for himself while attending Concord High School as a wrestler. He's a 2x NCS placer and an NCS finalist. He also has a handful of gold medals and ended his senior in 2023 with a record of 36-4. He brings all of that experience with him as a coach to the program. 

Coach Reger is another Concord Alum. He competed in the MMA with an impressive career. He also coaches Concord Football. He will be returning for his second year of coaching wrestling.

Naomi Fierros started martial arts when she was seven years old and has since earned a brown belt in BJJ. During high school, she wrestled for Pittsburg, and now trains grappling and wrestling at Nfinito Martial Arts Academy.
